First appointment

Before both your first and each subsequent visit, try to avoid eating large meals. Your last meal should be no later than one and a half hours before the scheduled treatment. This is especially important if your problem concerns the lumbar spine, sacrum, pelvis, or internal organs. Pressure in these areas may cause nausea, vomiting, or simply make it impossible to perform certain therapeutic techniques.

Before your first scheduled visit, you will receive an SMS with medical documentation. It will include sections to complete your personal details (first name, last name, national ID number, address), the GDPR clause, clinic regulations, a health status declaration, and authorisation to obtain information about the patient’s health. Please try to complete the documentation before your visit. If you are unable to do so, don’t worry — I will ask you to fill in the required information during your appointment.

If you become unwell before your scheduled visit (fever, cough, headache) and/or (for female patients) the first day of menstruation occurs, please contact me. I will determine whether the appointment can proceed, as these conditions may make it difficult or impossible for me to perform the treatment.

Please bring any medical documentation from other facilities to your first appointment, if available. This also includes imaging studies (both images and reports), such as X-ray, MRI, CT scan, and ultrasound. These documents can be helpful in diagnosing your pain complaints. If you do not have any documents or test results, don’t worry — based on your symptoms, I will determine whether additional examinations are necessary.

During the functional assessment, you will be asked to undress to your underwear to allow for an accurate examination. To feel more comfortable, you may change into lightweight sports shorts. Your upper body should remain uncovered; for female patients, wearing a bra is acceptable.

If, for any reason, you do not attend your scheduled appointment and fail to notify us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be asked to pay 50% of the missed appointment fee at your next visit. Let’s respect each other and our time.
